Senior Full Stack Developer…

We are currently looking for an experienced, confident and adventurous Senior Full Stack Developer to join us on our journey as part of our founding team.  You will have a demonstrable track record of developing a world-class product with the ability to turn an ambitious vision into an actionable set of objectives that weaves seamlessly into our product roadmap.

 

You will bring technical wizardry to the table to help us rapidly innovate, test and build features ahead of deployment, so an ability to play with, and prototype ideas collaboratively with our team, and external vendors, will be critical.  Please note that development is currently fully outsourced so this position will be for our first in-house developer.

Fluency in our stack: React Native, PHP, Laravel Vapor, Amazon Aurora, AWS, Google APIs and Git essential, and deep knowledge of emerging technologies, trends and directions such as CryptoCurrency, Blockchain and AI advancements will also be advantageous  in bringing wood to our fire.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our in-house product innovation development and contribute to the solution design
  • Lead other developers, review code for accuracy and functionality
  • Rapid prototyping and testing of features and functions
  • Backend and admin management 
  • Data analysis with our team on user testing/engagement 
  • Help us evolve the organisation’s strategic technical direction & culture
  • Deliver against an ambitious product development timeline and roadmap 
  • Build and maintain internal technology processes and systems
  • Provide technical support for all external events such as product launches and brand activations

 

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Experience in constructing and delivering mobile & web app architecture technologies
  • A bachelor degree or graduate in computer science or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience within the technology industry 
  • Excellent spoken and written English, with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working in an early stage start-up, bootstrapping product and organisation
  • Proven experience delivering in a fast-paced, lean/agile environment
  • A demonstrable ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships
  • A fastidious eye for detail, be highly organised, and respect delivery timelines
  • A flexible timetable and be available for occasional weekends and holidays when it counts
  • Fluency in utilising open source technologies

Chief Operating Officer

We are currently looking for an experienced, confident and adventurous COO to join us on our journey as part of our founding team. You will have a demonstrable track record of operating excellence in building and scaling ambitious start-ups. You will secure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

 

You will be an operationally focused problem solver with strong practical experience in evolving business environments. Your  skillset includes managing multiple functions, including legal/GDPR, recruitment and people processes, employee and team engagement, business IT systems and operational security.

You are resourceful and are able to find innovative solutions to organisational challenges with a keen focus on managing timelines and critical path towards achieving business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company operates effectively and smoothly at all times
  • Schedule and manage project timelines and ensure resources are available to deliver critical objectives
  • Direct responsibility for business IT systems and security (team productivity tools, data storage, device and hardware/software management etc)
  • Develop, implement and maintain company policies
  • Lead the company’s recruitment and HR processes 
  • Lead employee engagement and performance, communicating strategy and policy to employees and establishing policies that promote the company culture and vision
  • Work with functional heads to ensure team cohesion across the business
  • Administer team meetings, agenda setting, action logging and follow ups
  • Relationship management with key suppliers and partners

 

The candidate would ideally have:

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degreee
  • 5+ years experience within the technology industry 
  • Excellent spoken and written English, with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience presenting and interacting with stakeholders and external clients and partners
  • Experience working in an early stage start-up, bootstrapping product and organisation
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships
